Economist with a Master’s in Data Science, specialized in economic and financial analysis, as well as in quantitative modeling for strategic decision-making in both the public and private sectors. I have experience at the Central Bank of Bolivia and the Ministry of Economy and Public Finance, complemented by a background in teaching and research, where I have developed advanced data analysis, public policy evaluations, financial projections, and strategic dashboards.
Work Experience
Ministry of Economy and Public Finance
I participated in the issuance of Supreme Decree No. 5384, which regulates the establishment and operation of companies specializing in the provision of services with technological innovation in the areas of financial services, capital markets, and insurance.
Evaluations and analyses were conducted on the application of sustainable financial taxonomies and their feasibility in the Bolivian context, with the aim of promoting technical coordination spaces for the implementation of this policy.
I prepared the institutional document “ABC of the Financial Consumer and the Insured,” which provides citizens with information on the powers of entities executing the Economic-Financial Education and Financial Services Access Program.
I carried out activities related to the Insurance Protection Fund, the issuance of the Supreme Resolution for the Budget Allocation of the Central Bank of Bolivia for the budget of the Financial System Supervision Authority, as well as the follow-up of the Guarantee Funds and credit funds established for the fulfillment of the social function of financial services.
Central Bank of Bolivia
I processed and monitored payment operations from the Ministry of Economy and Public Finance to financial entities through the Treasury Payment System.
I managed and processed the Correspondent Fiscal Accounts System and the Fiscal Accounts Opening System at the Central Bank of Bolivia.
I extracted, processed, and integrated databases from the Public Sector Operations Department systems to generate reports, statistical bulletins, reports, and dashboards.
I contributed to the strategic evaluation of my area for the future implementation of the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).
I reviewed, validated, and cleaned payment plans for loans corresponding to Strategic National Public Enterprises and the General Treasury of the Nation, ensuring their correct integration into the Credit System.
I conducted analyses and projections on loan deferrals and reschedulings, providing key input for institutional financial planning.
I built, managed, and processed credit databases, optimizing the creation of reports and statistical reports to support strategic decision-making.
Teaching
I taught courses on cryptocurrencies in Bolivia, covering their operation, regulatory framework, impact, and transaction processes.
I designed training programs in Microsoft Power BI, from basic to advanced levels, enhancing participants’ skills in data analysis and visualization.
Consulting
I extracted, cleaned, and processed data from Facebook, Instagram, and Google marketing campaigns for the top 20 clients, enabling the evaluation of performance, identification of patterns, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
